President’s Message: Welcoming the 2025–2027 SIENNA Board of Directors

SIENNA Board of Directors 2025-2027
SIENNA Board of Directors 2025-2027

July 1 marks the start of a meaningful new chapter for the Society of Internationally Educated Nurses in North America (SIENNA). It is my honor to begin this presidency, grounded in the momentum built by our founding leaders. As we welcome the 2025–2027 Board, I first wish to extend heartfelt gratitude to the inaugural 2023–2025 board for registering SIENNA as a 501(c)(3), launching the SIENNA Daisy Award, and forging critical strategic partnerships. These accomplishments established a strong foundation for our community.

Now the responsibility and opportunity belong to the newly elected Executive Committee and Board of Directors. I am pleased to introduce our leadership team, whose expertise and dedication will guide SIENNA into its next phase:

Together, we will expand membership, strengthen partnerships, and amplify the voices of internationally educated nurses across North America. Our focus will be on enhancing continuing education, leadership development, and advocacy for equity and inclusion in healthcare.

I invite every SIENNA member to join us. Engage in committees, take advantage of mentorship and networking opportunities, and help shape our society’s future. Your involvement will be essential to our collective progress.

The next chapter of SIENNA begins now, and I am excited to write it with all of you.
