SIENNA Announces the 2026 Class of Fellows and Honorary Fellows
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 19, 2026 — Austin, TX — The Society of Internationally Educated Nurses and Nursing Allies (SIENNA) proudly announces the 2026 Class of Fellows and Honorary Fellows of the Fellowship of the Society of Internationally Educated Nurses (FSIEN). This year’s class comprises 20 Fellows and 12 Honorary Fellows, recognizing exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and contributions to the advancement of internationally educated nurses (IENs).
As SIENNA’s highest distinction, FSIEN honors significant, sustained, and measurable impact across its five LEADS competencies: Leadership; Education; Advocacy; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice; and Scholarship. The Fellowship elevates the recognition of IENs and their allies while strengthening their representation and influence across healthcare systems, institutions, and communities worldwide.
The 2026 Fellows successfully completed a rigorous assessment involving independent dossier evaluation and a viva voce examination. Their selection recognizes demonstrated achievements and a continuing commitment to advancing IEN leadership, opportunities, and professional growth.
