August 26, 2026 — Austin, TX — The Society of Internationally Educated Nurses and Nursing Allies (SIENNA) announces the publication of its 2025–2026 President’s Annual Report, documenting a transformative year of rapid growth, global expansion, and increasing organizational influence.

Over the past year, SIENNA has accelerated its evolution into a globally connected professional organization for internationally educated nurses (IENs), expanding its reach, strengthening its infrastructure, cultivating high-impact partnerships, and creating new pathways for leadership, education, scholarship, and advocacy.

This momentum reflects SIENNA’s growing capacity to convene a diverse international nursing community, elevate IEN voices, and bring their experiences and priorities to broader professional, institutional, and policy conversations. Through strategic collaboration and an expanding global network, SIENNA is positioning itself as a leading platform for advancing the visibility, representation, and influence of IENs worldwide.

The Annual Report captures this period of transformation and the collective impact made possible by SIENNA’s Ambassadors, leaders, volunteers, partners, supporters, and stakeholders.

We invite nurses, healthcare organizations, academic institutions, professional associations, philanthropic partners, and supporters of the global nursing workforce to explore the report, read Dr. Biluan’s message to the SIENNA community, and become part of SIENNA’s continued growth and global impact.

Dear SIENNA Ambassadors,

I am pleased to share the SIENNA President’s Annual Report, highlighting the progress and impact of our organization over the past year.

Guided by my leadership pillars of Growth, Engagement, and Advocacy, we have strengthened our operations, expanded our global community, created new opportunities for IENs, advanced research and education, and elevated our collective voice through policy and advocacy.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Board of Directors, committee chairs and members, volunteers, and our entire global SIENNA community. Your dedication, leadership, and service have made this progress possible.

These accomplishments belong to all of us. I invite you to read the Annual Report, celebrate how far we have come, and continue building the next chapter of SIENNA with us.
